Annotation

The aim of this course is to acquaint students with the basic pillars of literary-historical and aesthetic research, ie with the basic theoretical concepts of the 19th and 20th centuries. In order to understand them in the appropriate literary-scientific, philosophical and, more broadly, cultural context, the course will also address in its introduction the fundamental theses and concepts related to the understanding and reflection of literature, literature and literature in the ancient world, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and Classicism.

We understand this initial excursion as necessary for the creation of a contextual framework on the basis of which the problems and concepts of literary history and aesthetics of the 19th and 20th centuries will be presented.
