The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the manuscript of book culture, especially in the Czech Lands in the Middle Ages and the early modern period. Emphasis will be placed on practical aspects of codicology and copy specific features of books. The students will learn about the most important Czech manuscript collections.
The course is suitable for students of programs guaranteed by the Institute of Czech Literature and Comparatistics, Institute of Czech Language and Theory of Communication and Institute of Art History, too.
