Annotation
The seminar will focus on the introduction of the topic of open access (OA) to scientific/research publications and its state of the art in the world and in the Czech Republic. Students will become familiar with the various forms of OA (Gold OA - open journals, green OA - open repositories), information resources that provide access to OA documents, important initiatives and activities in the field of OA (not only in libraries) and the problems that academic libraries and other institutions face in this area.
