Class at Faculty of Arts |
ANM50616

Annotation

The course aims to apply the theoretical background taught in the Principles of Interactive Design course (ANM50586). Specifically, the course takes advantage of students‘ interdisciplinary knowledge of fields such as Human-computer interaction (HCI), User experience design (UX) and approaches in media theory, cognitive science, philosophy of technology, design, sociology, ethnography etc.

During two weekend days, the students will work within the workshop format in UX teams on a real project. The course will teach students the necessary parts of the UX/HCI design process, from UX research to prototyping, based on the goal-oriented and human-centered approaches.

At the end of the course, the students are expected to finish their digital prototypes and to give a short “pitch” presentation that emulates the introduction of the project to potential investors.
