The course offers students the opportunity to explore the currently very interesting and rapidly developing area of Self-Tracking (Quantified Self) using available academic tools. To get acquainted with basic concepts related to the collection, analysis and visualization of data on physical, social and other activities of users of self-measuring devices (wearables) or applications. To try out all parts of the process (design of own experiment, formulation of research questions, data collection, their analysis and interpretation of results), to present the procedure and conclusions within the course and finally to process all the collected information in the structure of the scientific paper.
The course is primarily intended for students in the follow-up master's program with previous experience and must be completed no later than by the end of the current academic year - each student has a maximum of three attempts.
