In this course we will focus on the computer as a phenomenon that both structures and is structured by culture.
On the one hand, it is a tool that we use every day for study, work, production, and consumption. On the other hand, it is a metaphor that determines our ideas, whether it be grand visions of the future, how we perceive the contemporary world in general, or relatively micro ideas of how we understand ourselves as working subjects.
