Annotation
A reading from the book The Guide of the Perplexed (II, 32-48) that will focus on Maimonides´ concept of the prophecy within the context of Jewish religious tradition. The text will be read in a Hebrew translation, an English version will be at hand.
Students will learn about the Jewish philosophical reflection of religion in its most excellent form. If needed, the teacher will put the text into the broader context of Maimonides´ thinking.
