Applied Criminal Law
The course requires basic knowledge in the field of substantive and procedural criminal law and is focused on their deepening and application to specific cases. Attention is paid especially to the field of criminal liability of juvenile offenders, imposing and enforcing criminal sanctions, crimes against family and children, crimes against life and health, crimes against freedom and the right to protection of personality, privacy and correspondence, crimes against sexual dignity, generally dangerous crimes, and crimes against public order and against humanity, which are important for social work.
Within the framework of criminal procedural law, attention will be focused especially on areas related to entities involved in social work in the criminal justice system, such as probation officers, Authority for Social and Legal Protection of Children, entities aiding victims of crime, social worker in prison or social curators. It also includes practicing knowledge for the state exam.
