Annotation
The principle focus of the course is the Czech social policy – its theoretical background, aims, systems as well as strategies. Each lesson is built on teacher-student lecturing and students’ group work. The course is constituted by twelve 2 hours lessons and lectured by a couple of teachers.

The History of the Social Welfare State, Key Concepts and Aims, the Welfare State and Social Policy in Practice 2 Stakeholders, Methods and Funding, Family Policy 3. Social Security for the Vulnerable: Health, Sickness, Disability and Old age 4. Social Context of Migration 5. Protection in Social Risk Situations – the Right to welfare: Education, Labour and Poverty 6. Social Welfare system across Europe
