Annotation
The course shows the development of Czech sociology from the 2nd half of 19th century up to the present. Main sociological schools, theoretical approaches, leading figures and key publications of Czech sociology are presented.
The seminar is dedicated to chosen fields of Czech sociology such as: political sociology, sociology of religion etc. The discussions will be based on the readings and student presentations.
