Annotation
The seminar focuses on a more detailed theoretical and practical understanding of the survey activities that take place between field data collection and statistical analysis of results: i.e. data preparation for digitalisation (coding, super-control, data entry systems), data file production (data uploading, file merging, import to SPSS), data file control and cleaning (logic control, weighting,…).
The result is both theoretical knowledge and the practical ability to translate the questionnaire survey into a formally good dataset that will be prepared for statistical analysis.
