Annotation
The translation seminar focuses on practical training of translation from Swedish into Czech. The example materials chosen for this purpose are original novels and short stories from 20th and 21st century and represent Swedish belles-lettres style.
The course is based on thorough preparation at home and active discussions of each student's translation in the lessons, where we look for the best fitting and most functional equivalents.
