Kurz thajského jazyka pro začátečníky v rozsahu 2 hodiny týdně. Kurz vede rodilá mluvčí a zkušená učitelka cizích jazyků. Kurz je otevřen jako volitelný předmět pro všechny studenty UK. Vzhledem k omezené kapacitě je však přednostně určen jako PVP pro studenty oboru etnologie se specializací vietnamistika a studenty těch oborů, které mají jako povinný předepsaný 2. orientální jazyk.

Anotace lektorky:

* Objectives

To introduce students to Thai language characteristics; Thai alphabets, vowels and tones.

To train students to construct and practice simple sentences using basic vocabulary and expressions related to daily communications.

To help students familiarize with some aspects of Thai cultures and customs in order to understand THAI.

* DESCRIPTION

This course is designed for beginners with no previous knowledge of Thai.

It will introduce students Thai alphabets, vowels and tones as well as help them to construct and practice simple sentences using basic vocabulary and expressions related to everyday communication.

Through situation-based classroom activities, students will develop the four skills of language acquisition; listening, speaking, reading and writing.

By the end of the course, students will be able to read and write simple sentences, short paragraphs and also talk in Thai about simple topics related to their daily activites.

• To train students to construct and practice complex sentences using vocabulary and expressions related to daily communications.

• To help students have deep understanding of Thai cultures, beliefs, value, etc, and compare with those of Czech.

DESCRIPTION

This course is designed for students who have passed Thai language and culture I.

Students continue to learn and construct sentences using new vocabulary, grammars and practice thematic conversations, learn more rules of reading and writing, practice spoken language used in daily communication.

Upon the completion of this course, students will be able to communicate effectively, by utilizing everyday spoken

Thai, read and write complex sentences and read easy essays as well as understand various aspects of Thai and compare with Czech.
