Content matter of the summer clerkship in dentistry is learning about everyday operation of a standard dental practice in a community. Under supervision, the students take active part in treating the patients.
Further, they obtain practical habits in communication with the other staff of the dental practice, participate in patient education and get actively involved in observation of the hygienic rules of a dental practice, learn about basic economics of a dental practice and reporting of the provided care to health insurance companies.
