* Medication administration - per os, to eye, ear, nose, per rectum.

* Urine elimination - male, female catheterization.

The basic philosophy, sociology and psychology:
Seven lectures are divided to three parts: Introduction to Philosophy (3x), History of Medicine (2x), Introduction to Medical Law (2x)
The topics of seminars:
The Relationship and his role during creation of "Self"
The basic types of relationships: personal I/You, non-personal, I/it, etc.
The basic frame of our relationships (nature, society, religion, art etc.)
The Origin of the Humankind: the hunter-gatherer societies etc.
The quality of life issues. Value intrinsec.
The Symbolism of Human Body. The imagination, speech, thinking.
The Body and Soul. Dreams in culture and history.
The courses:

During this second (summer)semester of the first year proceed course "The basic knowledge and skills in nursing" and the course "The basic philosophy, sociology and psychology" The basic philosophy, sociology and psychology: The course is concerning the basics of philosophy and sociology. The different ethical theories, the basic philosophical terms and school of thoughts are touched. The transformation of the question "what does it mean to be a human" in different times and contexts is discussed.
