The course is taught in the bachelor study programme. Honours in Health Care - Specialization -Public Health Care, in the 3rd year-class.
The course is engaged with linking of biological and economical aspects as a intersectorial problem. Education is targeted on the introductory economical food processing parameters, various nutrition recommendations, foodstuff quality, food legislative, food consumption, food composition data bases as a tool for the nutrition evaluation.
Further the course gives infomation about nutrition and food policy, organic foods, functional foods, the GMO containing products and information about the intenational organizations acting in the human nutrition and food sector.
