First aid course will provide students with the knowledge and the skills to manage emergency first aid situations, including managing the unconscious casualty, performing Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), controlling bleeding and managing other life and health threatening situations. Basic life support (BLS) training provides the skills to recognize and then manage a casualty who is unconscious and is not breathing.
BLS training is taught according to European Resuscitation Council (ERC) BLS-AED Provider courses and students who will pass excellent during final practical examination will obtain a Certificate of the 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University for BLS Provider.
