Lectures 2 teaching hours every 14 days, a total of seven:

General urology, urological literature, evidence-based medicine (EBM), kidney failure, congenital anomalies, intersexualism, transsexualism

Urinary tract infection, urolithiasis

Urooncology I- introduction, penile carcinoma, testicular carcinoma , kidney and  adrenal glands cysts and tumours, retroperitoneal diseases

Urooncology II- bladder and the upper urinary tract tumours, prostate carcinoma

Dysfunction of lower urinary tract, incontinence

BPH, prostatitis, benign diseases of genitals, male urethritis, urethral strictures.

Andrology, trauma, emergency urology    

Credit:

Winter semester

-          For  attendance, one absence allowed per semester  

Summer semester

-          For attendance and 2 requirements done: o   Wound bandaging or extraction stitches o   Blood taking, i.v. cannula o   Catheterisation o   Medical history / physical examination or digital rectal examination

Exam procedure:

Prerequisites:

-          credit (winter/summer semester), requirements

Theoretical test:

-          Oral exam - 2 questions
