2. Medical History. Documentation. Language skills: filling in an admission/discharge form, description of typical symptoms, suitable questions for history taking, explanation of abbreviations, understanding listening tasks November Topics:

3. Physical Examination.  Pain.

4. Monitoring the Patient. Laboratory Examination. Language skills: methods of physical examination, doctor's instructions, discussion how to classify and describe pain, observation of the patient based on vitals, how to read and interpret laboratory examinations, analysis of listening tasks December Topics:

5. Pharmacotherapy

6. Urgent medicine Language skills: types and forms of medicines,  choose the medicine according to the disease, use of Latin abbreviations in English, urgent admission, triage, situation scenarios for first aid, emergency call

Annotation

Acquiring language means and communication skills in English for selected branches of clinical practice: hospital, physical examination and documentation, monitoring the patient, pharmacotherapy, internal medicine, urgent medicine.
