Annotation
This subject provides information about procedures and apparatuses used in the manufacturing of drugs of natural origin. It deals with the preservation, storage and mechanical adjustments of biological material, with the extraction, isolation and purification of pharmaceutically important substances of plant origin, and with the quality control of raw materials and final products.
Attention is also paid to pharmacopoeial regulations, and principles of good manufacturing practice.
