Syllabus
This one-semester elective optional subject consists of lectures and leads to an examination. The subject acquaints students with that special part of criminalistics which contains scientific knowledge regarding criminal characteristics of particular types of criminal offences, their traces and investigative situations arising from the investigation of these criminal offences.
At the same time, the methodology comprises a system of methods recommended for crime detection, investigation and prevention. The scope of the teaching does not enable us to cover all the particular methodologies.
The teaching therefore concentrates on information about those of them which are of primary importance to lawyers who will work as judges, state prosecutors, attorneys-at-law, or police specialists. The subject introduces methods used in the investigations of the most serious or very frequently occurring criminal offences.
A number of examples taken from real life investigation are employed in the teaching. These examples are used as visual didactic materials.
It is recommended to all those interested in taking this subject to first take the elective subject called "Criminalistics".

Metodika vyšetřování jednotlivých druhů trestných činů je zvláštní částí kriminalistiky. Pojednává o metodách odhalování a vyšetřování skupin trestných činů, spojených společnou kriminalistickou charakteristikou.
Po stručném pojednání o obecných zásadách a struktuře metodiky vyšetřování se podrobně rozebírají dílčí metodiky vyšetřování vražd, loupeží, krádeží, sexuálních trestných činů, hospodářské kriminality, počítačové kriminality, silničních dopravních nehod, požárů, výbuchů a havárií, trestných činů páchaných mládeží, trestných činů páchaných veřejnými činiteli a organizované kriminality.
