This course concentrates on the history of European integration, on the relationship between European law and national and international law, as well as on the sources and the system of EU law. Particular attention will be paid to EU institutional arrangements.
The second semester will focus on EU substantive law and judiciary. The substantive part will first address economic aspects, such as the internal market, competition, and economic and monetary union; the second part will be based around the concept of citizenship, covering EU citizenship, fundamental rights and freedoms or the dynamically evolving Area of Freedom, Security and Justice.
V rámci předmětu "Evropské právo I" je podán výklad o historii evropské integrace, o vztahu práva EU k právu vnitrostátnímu a mezinárodnímu, jakož i výklad o pramenech a systému unijního práva. V kurzu kl íčovou pasáž zaujímá právo institucionální, které je jedním ze základních stavebních kamenů práva EU.
