The course is designed for lawyers mainly as "consumers" of statistical studies, whereas in the judicial proceedings, public administration, legislative process, or merely as educated citizens and voters. The primary objective of the course is a development of knowledge that is needed for understanding of empirical studies, identification of their strength and limitations, and a development of critical thinking.
