Syllabus
Cílem předmětu bude seznámit studenty s vybranými osobnostmi, které významným způsobem ovlivnily historii světových médií. V každé hodině bude posluchačům prostřednictvím určité (či určitých) osobnosti přiblížena jedna etapa mediální historie.
Výklad bude rámcován odpovídajícím mediálním, kulturním, ekonomickým a politickým kontextem. Příklady probíraných osobností: W.R.
Hearst, J. Pulitzer, Lord Northcliffe, Alfred Hugenberg, Julius Streicher, Henry R.
Luce, Axel Springer, Robert Maxwell, Rupert Murdoch aj.
Annotation
The aim of this course is to acquaint the students with selected personalities that in an important way influenced the history of Czech and world media. Each class will bring near one period of the media history by means of introducing particular person/s.
