Annotation
The main objective of the course is to clearly present the spatial dimension of political science and international relations. The vast majority of activities that are of interest to study in these disciplines also have a territorial framework. Sometimes, this framework is quite clear (constituencies, administrative-subdivided state, etc.) sometimes not ("interference" of state boundaries, use of languages, extension of religion, etc.).
Understanding the territorial context can help to better understand the issues discussed in other disciplines of study, such as comparative politics or security studies, and help to contextual a range of topics to their natural Geographic Framework (locality, region, state, continent/pan-region, global unit).
