The course deals with European policies of the Visegrad countries - the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia - their evolution since pre-membership years and their institutional background. It also pays attention to their policy preferences on current issues, including the war in Ukraine, migration policies, the eurozone and budgetary matters, focusing on the National Recovery Plans and related policy preferences and reforms.
The relevance of the Visegrad cooperation for preference formation and negotiation strength is discussed for all the topics.
