Professional work performed in the public administration, civil and private sectors in which the student develops knowledge and skills corresponding to education in the Social Sciences programme.
Typically, this involves a job based on one or a combination of these activities:
- Assisting or working independently on a professional research assignment using social research methods;
- Information retrieval and processing;
- Data generation;
- Interpretation and analysis;
- Coordinating or organising research activities using social research methods;
- Data preparation, presentation and interpretation.
The faculty does not provide any internship placements; learners must find their own internship opportunities. Students are advised to consult with the programme coordinator for a specific internship before enrolling in the course.
