The course is focusing on conceptualization of contextual influences which affect a policy-making process, i.e. on spatial anchoring of public policies in a political system and influence of polity and politics on the policy-making process.
At the practical level, the course is intended to develop students´ critical thinking about the policy-making process, converting of theoretical findings into practice and back, and developing their skills in critical studying of academic texts and argument-based communication (debating).
