Annotation

The history of the European Middle Ages is an important stage in the historical development that has determined the distribution of the continent's future state services. But history is made not only by political events, but also by religious, cultural, and social events.

Therefore, phenomena and processes need to be studied in a wider context and multidisciplinary, with systematic use of period sources. The students in the seminar will receive a broad insight as well as a deep insight into the topics related to the European Middle Ages as well as general history linked to the historical development of the Czech countries.

Historical topics will be discussed in a broader context and illustrated in contemporary sources.
