Grammatical, Lexical Structures: present perfect( simple , progressive) special cases; linking verbs; irregular adverbs; reporting verbs, structures; collocations; suffixes.

Topics: discursive essay, finding main ideas, supporting details in a text; framing and writing a response.

Test review: Use of English,Reading, Writing sections

Annotation

A two-term credited course which introduces students to the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English Exam, explores strategies of test taking and covers the grammatical structures, vocabulary and writing genres found in this test. Be advised that this is an advanced level English class. The course is included in the credit system of the Faculty.
