Annotation
The course is taught in Czech. The seminars cover the period from the Antiquity to the 20th century. Some of the lessons employ an interdisciplinary approach by linking history to related branches of study such as history of arts or literature. The aim is to familiarize the students with narrowly defined thematic areas of study, teach them research into the sources, their critical assessment and most notably their use in teaching practice. Students participate in creating the seminar’s content by preparing oral presentations, extramural excursions, etc.
