The subject analyses the issues of health and the quality of life as well as techniques how to manage difficult life situations. It includes the salutogenetic approach to the health of an individual and family. An analysis of bio-social factors maintaining, strengthening and supporting health is included, particularly psychoneuroimunology, overcoming life difficulties, social backing, stress management techniques - coping strategies, sanotherapy (somatic psychotherapy) - sanogenetic process.
