The aim of the subject is to clarify the knowledge of important metallic materials, structure, properties, understanding the relationship between structure and utility properties, processing and use of metal materials, the different metal materials for the periods when and as they were mostly used. Findings of the theoretical foundations of machining, metal cutting technologies will be presented.
Students will be familiar with the most important and most interesting knowledge of the construction and operation of industrial machines and machinery which have accompanied man since the beginning of history until today.
