This course is concerned with development and changes of subject matter and methods in the field of social science research, and different methodological perspectives, i.e. positivistic, phenomenological, marginally-rational and structuralistic.
Attention is paid also to the problem of historism, objectivism and rationalism in social science research.
Course outline 7. Interpretation criteria ? hermeneutics in social sciences. 8. Phenomenological reduction and the principle of epoché. 9. Structuralism and its method. 10. Scientism in social sciences. 11. Multidisciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, and transdsciplinarity in social sciences. 12. Multiculturalism and multicultural education.
