The course provides postgraduate (doctoral) students with information concerning the problem of education in philosophical, biological, anthropological, sociological, psychological and pedagogical contexts. Throughout the course "education" is analysed as a term and associated with other content related terms.
It deals with selected current topics of general and social pedagogy. The integrative element, which is used to interconnect selected topics, is the topic of authority.
Authority is considered an anthropological constant that plays a key role in the development of a human being, in his/her education. Models and styles of education are "defined" by the approach to authority and its form.
