Syllabus
The course follows the programme covered in PANORAMA 2, but working with the coursebook is not part of the course
Educational goals:
- Revision and deepening of grammatical knowledge (the provided exercices correspond to B1 and B2 levels, defined by the Common European Frame of Reference)
- Reinforcement of morpho-syntactic and lexical competence
- Systematization of knowledge
Aids:
- Structural exercices
- Teaching activities based on newspaper articles (e.g. analysis of the usage of past tenses)
- Audio materials (RFI, Le français dans le monde)
- Literary texts
Exam - the first part consists of structural exercices, the second part of an essay (criteria - knowledge and systematization of grammar knowledge, mastering of morpho-syntax in written form, richness of vocabulary)
Annotation
Extension of the vocabulary and its stylistic enrichment. Development of communicative skills within the selected topics that comprise the main conversational topics of social sciences.
Analysis of various types of texts, different approaches to text, its comprehension and reproduction. Working with authentic materials, audio and video tapes, comprehension, analysis and reproduction of the materials.
Development of one's oral and written language skills, translation, reproduction, summary. Gradation and evaluation of the course is provided on the basis of systematic use of the third volume of the French coursebook PANORAMA.
