Syllabus

The course will be devoted to the following topics: definition of psychology as a science, psychological disciplines, methodology of psychological research information process and cognitive theory of learning behavioral theory of learning human personality human evolution intelligence and talent motivation emotions in learning, prevention of burnout syndrome communication with students, parents and colleagues

Annotation

The aim of the course is to introduce students to a professional psychological discourse, which will be applied to pedagogical reality. The course introduces psychology as an independent scientific discipline, shows its methodology and relationship to other disciplines.

Emphasis is placed on distinguishing between laic and scientific views on human experience and behavior. The course will focus on basic concepts and theories of general psychology and personality psychology, which are key to the subsequent understanding of the specifics of preschool and school children and the teaching profession.

Students have an e-learning course in which they are going to fill tasks related to the main topics.
