Annotation
The course provides students with information about the current approach to social pedagogy in the Czech Republic and around the world. It presents the subject, aims, functions and tasks of social pedagogy and analyzes its relation to other scientific disciplines, in particular to social sciences.
It also focuses on specifics of social pedagogy. Also, it concentrates on the historical development of social pedagogy in connection with analyses of life and work of renowned key figures of both theoretical and practical streams of social pedagogy.
