Syllabus
1. Social pedagogy specification, influence of environment on human education.
2. Education in family, family characteristics and functions, rights and responsibilities of parents. Current family development, deficiencies in family education and how to overcome them. Alternative custody of children.
3. Education towards marriage and parenthood, basic sex ed problems. Cooperation between school and parental public.
4. Educational system of school, school regulations, student self-government, school tradition.
5. Social pathology problematics.
6. Selected social and discipline problems in schools.
Annotation
Subject provides basic orientation in socio-pedagogic issues that are relevant to work of practical and technical education teacher. Emphasis is given on the influence of family background on individual's education and on school's possibilities in prevention of socially unwanted behavior.
