1. Properties of living matter, its integration stages - genes, cells, tissues, organs, organ systems.2. Basics of cytology, histology and human organology.3. Musculoskeletal system.4. Cardiovascular system.5. Respiratory system.6. Gastrointestinal system.7. Sensory system8. Urogenital system.

Annotation

Somatology I is an introductory course providing students with theoretical knowledge of functionally oriented somatology. The course revises and extends students´ high school biology knowledge and further focuses on human anatomy a physiology.

Priority is given to those areas of study which are essential for the understanding of biological determinants, potentials and limitations of human body and are relevant to health education.
