The course deals with the basic elements of the internal system of pre-school pedagogy (socialization-communication-interaction, play and learning in kindergarten conditions). It introduces the prevailing current trends in the implementation of work programs in kindergarten. It analyzes current changes in the current concept of pre-school education and alternative forms of early care. The subject responds to the variability of institutional pre-school education in the Czech Republic and to the current problems that are currently being addressed at various levels of the system. It provides insight into the fundamental issues of regional education policy education. Emphasis is placed on topics related to the pedagogical work of the educator (cooperation between the school and the family, the transition of children from kindergarten to primary school, the social status of teaching staff, etc.) The choice of topics is selected on the basis of currently solved pre-school problems. Students are expected to have an active discussion. Content definition:
