Annotation
The subject follows up on the course Research Methodology I. The course develops students' competencies for the strategy of pedagogical research.
Students will use the knowledge of pedagogical research in diploma thesis. Students will gain an overview of the principles of conducting pedagogical research (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed design) and determine research questions.
The course introduces the principles of qualitative research, quantitative research, paradigm, theoretical methods, inductive and deductive procedures, and ethical aspects of research. The student will find out what procedure to choose when solving a research problem in special pedagogy.
The practical application of theoretical knowledge reflects the objectives of the thesis.
