Syllabus

1. Law basics (law, rule of law, legal standards, legal sources system, legal branch, rule of law, legal subjects, public and private law, juridical subjectivity.

2. Basics and basic terms of public law I. (constitutional law, common part of administrative law, public authority organization, criminal law and administrative infractions law).

3. Family act (marriage - formation, dissolution. Marriage - colourable, invalid, divorce, children protection in divorce, paternity test, substitute family care, adoption and surrogate care, alimony.

4. Problems of the alternative family care (forms, alternatives, institutional framework, procedures and possible risks).

5. Social-legal protection of children.

7. Identification of the problems of child in distress and provision of the social support.

Annotation

The goal of the subject is to give a legal awareness especially from social-legal child and youth protection, family and civil law. The subject is based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child and history of its origin.

Students are acquainted with system of state and non government children and family with children help. Subject contents also foster* care problems (forms, alternatives, institutional base, methods and potential risks).
