The oral folk literature. The origins of Russian literature. History of book culture. Specific features of poetics, structure of genres and styles and their changes in the context of historical development.
Periodization of the history of Old Russian literature. Textological issue. Analysis of selected literary works.
Literary works of Kievan Rus (original andtranslation). The period of feudal fragmentation. The period of Mongolian-Tatar yoke.Russian literary protorenesance.
Annotation
To acquaint students with the history of Russian literature from earliest times to the 15th century in association with the development of European and Czech history and literature, and with Russian literature of the 19th, 20th and 21st century.
