Annotation

The subject aims to teach the students the underlying approaches of ethical decision making and to equip them with the basic knowledge of health and social ethics. The subject deals with the relationship between ethics and moral philosophy, presents the philosophical basis of different ethical approaches.

It focuses on the issues of medical ethics and social work ethics (termination of pregnancy, euthanasia, transplantation etc.). It understands ethical education as a cross-disciplinary education connecting spiritual, philosophical, legal and personality aspects with concrete attitudes and practices when dealing with the issues in question.

Completing the subject makes it easier to reflect the professional value orientation of health education teachers.
