5. Carefully selected methodological questions of introduction into programming in Imagine. Approaches to development of information ang algorithmical pupil´s thinking and to development of pupil´s competency for manipulation with structures (structural thinking).

The mission of this course is to provide student teachers theoretical bases necessary to master solving methodological questions how to integrate computer technologies into instruction in basic or secondary school. The accent is given to three different roles of ICT in school education: ICT as a study object, ICT as a tool for problem solving in various branches, ICT as a key element of working environment for teacher/learner.
The attention is given to didactic-methodological questions important for teaching ICT subjects in basic and secondary schools contributing to ICT skill and knowledge development needed for life in information/knowledge society, to creative activities of learners, and deeper understanding of principles and application of computer technologies in problem solving and in learning. The concept of information education and its key components is a base for theoretical approach to didactics of information and technical education 02.
The attantion will be given also to to analysis and evaluation of textbooks and to methodological questions of programming in primary and secondary schools (mainly in Imagine).
