The course introduces students to the problems of basic paradigms defining the man in the metaphysical thinking ? the man as animal rationale, imago Dei and ego cogito. The modern man sees oneself as a biosocial, social, religious, moral and cultural being.
The modern definitions of the man are as follows: homo faber, homo ludens, homo educandus and homo educans, homo viator, ens amant. The modern understanding of the man as a being that understands.
How can people of different cultures, generations and traditions understand each other? Meeting and clash of discourses ? hermeneutic and structural solution.
