Annotation

The subject is based on the predominantly theoretic content of the subject of information literacy for pre-school education I. Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to develop digital literacy of nursery school students and, on the basis of theoretical knowledge, to apply the appropriate technical means to pre-school education.

At the same time, the course creates space for specific examples of the inclusion of technical means in teaching, supports creative thinking of students and develops their algorithmic thinking with the aim of equipping them with relevant competencies for information and technological development of children in kindergarten. The content of the course is practical introduction to specific types of interactive technical means and relevant software support.

Students are encouraged to use their own technical equipment, create relevant digital materials, evaluate available digital materials and consequently to the subsequent application in didactic techniques in kindergarten.
