This subject marking the end of Bachelor studies verifies the knowledge and skills gained in all obligatory linguistic subjects.The comprehensive exam is composed of four tests of equal standing, viz. Phonetics and phonology, Morphology, Lexicology and semantics, and Syntax.
The order of the individual tests is arbitrary, although it is fixed for the individual exam dates and established by the invigilator. It should be noted that the candidates are not allowed to use any reference books, dictionaries, grammars, etc. The candidate has 4 hours to complete the entire exam.
Once they turn a particular part in, they are not allowed to make any later modifications in it. Apart from tasks verifying knowledge and skills gained in the individual obligatory linguistic subjects, the tests incorporate also some theoretical , interdisciplinary and synthesizing tasks.
The assessment takes account of the proficiency level as well.
