This course is aimed at the participants with prior teaching practice. It was to be practically oriented and interactive. Since this is not possible in the near future, I suggest the following changes of program.

Each week you will get an e-mail with several attachments (handouts for self-study) and a task (homework) to carry out and submit. 1. (5.10.2020) Getting acquainted with course organization, content, requirements and handouts: a) Warmers, fillers, coolers, b) Rapport, c) Realia, d) Flashcards. E) Needs analysis Homework: Please write the extent of your teaching experience (TEFL / other) - bullet points, max. ½ p. A4 + send to MH and all the course participants 2. (12.10.) Self-study of handouts: a) Class management, b) Classroom interaction, c) Lesson stages and steps in running an activity Homework: Please describe your best teaching / learning-related memory (similar extent). Share with MH and the others. 3. (19.10.) Submit this homework to MH only. You will get a written feedback. Options to choose from: a) Observe an English lesson and fill in the observation form. b) Reflect on your own English teaching, and describe the main problem you face. c) Write a profile of one of your students of English stating his/her main problem. 4.
